GlobalSec a.s. recognizes the importance of protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how GlobalSec a.s. collects, uses, and discloses your personal data in connection with the use of the Bluetooth location tag GS e-TAG. It also outlines how we protect your personal data.
  1. What Information Do We Collect?
    1. Account Information: When you register your GS e-TAG through our Globalsec app and create an account, we collect your username, email address, phone number, and vehicle registration plate. We use this information to identify your account and communicate regarding its status.
    2. Location Information: When you run the GlobalSec mobile app on your device with our GS e-TAG, we collect location data via GPS, Wi-Fi, or mobile network triangulation. We use this information to provide location tracking services on our website. We only store this data for as long as necessary to provide the service. Outdated data is removed from our database. Data is also removed if the user removes the GS e-TAG from the mobile app.
    3. Payment Information: We do not store your payment card details. When purchasing enhanced services, this information is passed to our third-party payment processors, whose privacy policies apply to you. These entities comply with PCI-DSS standards set by the PCI Security Standards Council.

    5. Log Files: Our server automatically collects anonymous information about visitors, including IP addresses, browser type, language, and website visit times and dates. This data does not contain personally identifiable information and is used for server performance analysis and troubleshooting.
    6. Cookies: We use persistent cookies to maintain login sessions and store visitor preferences.
  2. How Long Do We Retain Your Data?
  3. We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services. Outdated data is deleted. We retain data to the extent necessary to fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce legal agreements. Log files are retained for internal analysis, typically for a shorter period, unless needed to enhance service security or functionality.

  5. Our databases and servers are hosted by MasterDC in the Czech Republic.

  7. We have implemented procedures to safeguard collected data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
    • We encrypt location data during transmission from your device to our server.
    • Data is deleted from your device after transmission.
    • Access to data is protected by account authentication.
    • Database data is accessible only to authorized employees.

  9. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties unless necessary to fulfill our services or based on a legal requirement.

  11. We use Google Analytics to collect information about website usage. This data is used to improve services. Google Analytics does not collect your name or other identifying data. Cookies can be disabled in your browser.
